Martie, or is it Martin?

Something amazing happened recently. My family and I are animal lovers. We have two dogs and two cats. We enjoy them a lot. At one point, we had a third cat, however, because of the dynamics of the animals in our house, the third cat didn't seem as happy as the other animals.

We found some friends who were willing to open their house for our cat, Martie. This cat was a female cat that was completely grey, not another color of fur. She had these beautiful eyes, this really neat color of green. We came to own this cat during our Trick-or-Treating. One of the houses we stopped at tricked Maggie and Carly in to keeping this little kitten.

So we set-up our generous friends with a litter box and litter, food, bowels, and the cat. We were sad to see her leave, but knew that she would be a much happier cat with them. Boy, were we wrong. The first night at their new house, they let the cat out. This cat was to never set paw in their house again.

Well, this was about 18 months ago. Recently, we have seen a beautiful grey cat running around our home. We even set out some tuna for it because Martie had found her way back home. She was taking her time coming around. She wanted to check out the surroundings. That was, until this past Tuesday evening, when we had 2" of snow on the ground, and it was very cold outside. I opened our front door, and this cat made a mad dash to get inside. I picked her up, and carried her to our room, and quickly closed the bedroom door. I put Martie on the bed. We petted here, loved her, she bagan purring. Our little Martie was home.

On Wednesday, I took her to see the doctor to make sure she was healthy to be around our other cats. I also wanted to talk to them about how to get her cleaned up. She was a mess from head to toe due to mats in her hair. She didn't feel very skinny, and weighed a nice 10.5 lbs. The doctor started performing his exam, and that is when my heart sank. Someone, somewhere did someting to my cat. You see, it wasn't a girl anymore, but was a boy cat.

We had the vet take some blood, and the cat is healthy. Maggie and I spoke about what to do with the cat. We decided to let the cat go, and if he makes it back around our house, we would feed it, but decided that we couldn't keep another cat right now.

Boy, I sure felt stupid when the doctor told me it was a boy. I inspected, and suspected, but I have never been good at identifying cats very well.

So, if you happen to see a grey female cat, please be nice to it, since it may be our little Martie.

GEE MAGS, I think I felt a vagina hole...I am SURE you are right and it IS MARTIE!!!!! How funny that someone gave our cat a sex change.
Seth...this was so well written, and I found it hilariously funny. You are my favorite, and I don't know if it is the 2 percocet every 4 hours, but this Dully Noley is now my favorite Moley Noley again! I love you babe!
