I'm Glad the Day is Over

What a day. This was going to be a bad day anyway. It is the first day that I was going to be without a sales assistant. It turned worse, when my boss, the Sales manager, called us in for a meeting, and told us he had been let go. This came as a big shock. I am not sure what this means to the future of our department. I am sure that we will continue on, but I have no idea who my boss is going to be. I have no idea who to go to with problems, and I sure have a lot.

So, I am beginning the daunting task of updating my resume. I have been saying that I was going to do this for the last 6 months, and now the pressure is on. We have a receptionist that is new and still very uncertain of what she is doing. So if anyone knows of a sales position for anything other than used cars and cell phones, let me know.

This weekend was a great weekend. Maggie, Carly, and I went to Joe Bologna's restaurant Sunday night. We went to celebrate the 80th birthday of Maggie's great aunt. She is such a riot with how much energy that she has.

Tonight, we didn't do a lot, but talk about more egg a bod a doo doo. That is what the person on the other side of the phone kept asking Maggie when she was ordering take out the other night. Do you want some mo egg a bod a doo doo. Let me know, because we said no, and now we wish she had said yes.
